What does it cost?
Online subtotals must be a minimum of $50.00 prior to checkout. Thrifty Foods Online charges a Service Fee of $7.95 for each online delivery order, or we provide same day delivery service for $9.95. For our Online pickup orders, where we do the shopping for you, there is a service fee of $4.95.* All products will be priced and totalled on the day the order is shopped. The order’s till receipt will be included with your online order.
* The pickup option requires credit card registration at your online store prior to placing a pickup order.

How do I pay for my grocery order?
Our delivery staff will present you with a secure wireless payment terminal when they arrive at your door. The wireless terminal functions the same as the payment terminals that we have in our stores. We accept debit card, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express payments only. For the safety of our drivers, they do not carry cash.

How do I checkout?
When you have finished adding items to your Shopping Cart, and your subtotal is over $50.00, click on the “Checkout” tab where there are five steps to complete the checkout process:
1. Order Summary [you confirm the items you have selected]
2. Schedule Type Select [you select delivery or pickup]
3. Delivery Date Selection [you can order up to three weeks in advance]
4. Delivery Time Selection [you select a delivery time]
5. Order Notes [you can ask for additional items, item details, driver instructions and anything else you were unable to locate on the website]

Why is there only an estimated total?
The total cost shown at checkout is only an estimate. This is to allow for any product you’ve selected that must be weighed and for any substitutions that may occur. The receipt you see at delivery includes the final total.

How do I know you received my order?
Once your checkout is successful, we will automatically send you an email to confirm your order information, including the address, phone number, desired dates and items, and approximate order total [the actual total may vary due to any random weight fresh items in your order and the price of the items on the day they are shopped]. Some items from our fresh and bulk departments are ordered by weight increments and the actual weight may vary. If you do not receive the confirmation email message, please email us at info@thriftyfoods.com, or call Customer Service at [250] 544.1234 or 1.800.667.8280. The order number displayed on the successful checkout screen will match our records, so please have the order number ready when calling us.
